Influenza vaccinations begin: Lovell FHCC has flu shots available at our main hospital and our community based outpatient clinics for veterans eligible for Department of Veterans Affairs care and our Department of Defense/TRICARE beneficiaries.
Our next walk-in Saturday Flu Shot Clinic, for veterans and TRICARE patients 18 and older, will be 7 to 11:30 a.m., on Oct. 16, at Cristo Rey St. Martin College Prep high school, 3106 Belvidere Road, Waukegan.
We will have a Saturday flu shot clinic for veterans at our McHenry Community Based Outpatient Clinic (CBOC), 3715 Municipal Drive, from 8 a.m. to noon, Oct. 16.
Eligible veterans who are not already Lovell FHCC patients may enroll on site at all Saturday clinics with proof of service (discharge form DD214) and then receive the vaccination.
Walk-ins also are accepted during other scheduled times on weekdays in North Chicago and for veterans at the McHenry CBOC. Veteran flu shot appointments are available at the Evanston and Kenosha CBOCs. Link HERE for more detailed information about walk-in hours and appointments.
Veterans may receive flu vaccinations if they are enrolled for care with the VA. Eligible veterans with proof of service (such as a DD214 form) may enroll at all our locations. Additionally, veterans may receive their flu vaccinations during primary care, specialty care and mental health appointments.
