Flu vaccination offered to veterans, military and their families

The Captain James A. Lovell Federal Health Care Center is offering flu vaccinations to thousands of military members, veterans, military retirees and family members. As the nation’s first integrated Veterans Affairs and Department Defense federal health care center, the facility offers medical services to patients throughout Northern Illinois and Southern Wisconsin.

To kick-off the flu season, a Saturday Flu Shot Clinic is being offered for all registered and enrolled patients on Sept. 17 from 7:30 a.m. to 2:30 p.m. in North Chicago, Evanston and McHenry, Ill., and also in Kenosha, Wisc. A complete list of vaccination options and details are listed below.
